Grade 3-12
Hailing from Mexico, theatre artist, vocalist, and educator Laura Crotte brings ancient myths and stories of Dia de los Muertos to the Old Town School. Masks, puppets, songs, rhymes, and rhythms build a living ofrenda that creates a colorful banquet of life in honor of the Day of the Dead. Laura and her characters bring to life Prehispanic and Spanish colonial legends, dressing up who became the most famous of this Mexican celebration: La Catrina. Join us to sing and dance to La Catrina’s 100th Birthday.
