World Music Wednesdays
A weekly showcase of world music and dance featuring the best local and touring talent! Most shows are Wednesday nights at 8:30 PM.
Most World Music Wednesday concerts are free with a $10 suggested donation. TO GUARANTEE YOUR ENTRY MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE EITHER ONLINE OR BY CALLING THE BOX OFFICE AT 773.728.6000. Reservations unclaimed by 8:20 PM will be released to waiting patrons.

iAN&ANi
iAN&ANi is a Chicago-based duo comprised of two international artists - Russian cellist Ian Maksin and Bulgarian pianist Ani Gogova. They have both performed around the globe as soloists and now are joining forces to create a new kind of synergy and combine their artistic vision in order to deliver a one-of-a-kind performance of a great array of musical works.
In their debut CD Tango Plus, iAN&ANi explore the theme of tango, flamenco, and other electrifying and passionate rhythms of Latin America and Spain, bringing new dimension to the concept of cello-piano duo. The program will include music by Piazzolla, Ginastera, Ravel, De Falla, a new specially commissioned for this project piece by Chicago-based composer Ilya Levinson, as well as guest appearances of leading dancers from the Joffrey Ballet and Jorge Niedas and his Tango 21 Company.
