Eric Ross

Composer Eric Ross and video artist Mary Ross present their Ultimedia Concept performance. Eric Ross performs on keyboards, guitar and is a master of the theremin. His compositions include elements of jazz, classic, serial, and avant garde. Mary’s videos, projected in performance, are organized, arranged, and edited to his music.

He's presented concerts of his original works at Lincoln Center, NYC; Kennedy Center, Newport, North Sea, Berlin and Montreux Jazz Festivals, Brussels, Prague New Music Festivals , Guggenheim Bilbao among others worldwide.

For more than 20 years he's led his ensemble that's featured jazz giants, John Abercrombie, Larry Coryell, Andrew Cyrille, Oliver Lake, and Leroy Jenkins. He's also played with blues legends, Lonnie Brooks, Sonny Terry, and Brownie McGhee.

The New York Times calls his music "a unique blend of classical, jazz, serial and avant-garde."

Mary Ross is a fine art photographer and video artist. In 1976, she began using video and computers to produce still images on film. As one of the first fine art photographers to do so, she is recognized as a "pioneer of digital photography."
