Tribute to Doc Watson & Earl Scruggs
Join faculty, staff, and friends of the Old Town School as we pay tribute to two American roots music heroes - Doc Watson and Earl Scruggs.
The evening's tribute will be split right down the middle with the first set focusing on Doc Watson and featuring Rita Ruby and Sweeter Gift, Eric Lugosch, Mark Dvorak, Sleepy Lou (Jonas Friddle & Maria McCullough), Chris Walz, Sunnyside Up, and Dvorak, Shepard & Walz.
The second set will be a special tribute to Earl Scruggs led by Special Consensus mastermind Greg Cahill and aided and abetted by Chris Walz, Colby Maddox, Keith Baumann, and John Abbey.
