Girlyman are likened to a modern-day, edgy and quirky Peter, Paul & Mary with a harmony-driven style combining folk, country rock, and pop. They record for Amy Ray's (Indigo Girls) label Daemon Records.
"Beautiful music! Girlyman's harmony-driven style veers from urban folk to country to rock to calypso doo-wop, as the songwriters effortlessly switch off lead vocals." -Salon.com

Known primarily for gorgeous vocal harmonies and stellar songwriting, Congress of Starlings do not settle for the standard folk stasis of guitar and voice. Instead they employ a wide palette of sounds and instruments from Aerin's ever-present tenor guitar to Andrea's computer generated tones. Their live show ranges from traditional acoustic folk to laptop tinged anti-folk and back again.
