Bajofondo is the brainchild of Argentine musician and composer Gustavo Santaolalla and Uruguayan musician-producer Juan Campodonico. A musical collective that launched the wildly popular Bajofondo Tango Club in 2002, this extraordinary group of Argentine and Uruguayan artists have created a unique style that has since transcended their 'tango-tronica' roots. They have toured the world non-stop in top venues and festivals including a 2008 Millennium Park event that drew more than 10,000 people. Their live performances are an electrifying multi-media show featuring live instrumentation with vocals, drums, bass, percussion, violin, bandoneon, piano, keyboards, programming, beats, samples, scratching and video.

The evening begins with opening act Alma de Tango led by Uruguayan bandoneon player Gerardo Perez and closes with a Milonga featuring the American Tango Institute’s director, Netza Roldan.
