A traditional Cajun band from Louisiana carrying on in the soulful, impassioned Balfa Brothers tradition (led by Christine Balfa, daughter of the great Cajun fiddler Dewey Balfa.)
These Louisiana musicians play it straight from the heart, as it has been played in their Cajun family for hundreds of years.
Deeply rooted in the rural traditions of Americana and Appalachia, the music of Dirk Powell and Riley Baugus was featured in the Academy Award winning film Cold Mountain.
