Los Cojolites are a collective of Mexican soneros who live and work together in Jaltipan, Veracruz, Mexico. They began their artistic journey over 20 years ago exploring the rich heritage of the music, dance and poetry that is Son Jarocho from the state of Veracruz. They have recorded and toured extensively, including several appearances here at the Old Town School! Los Cojolites continue to bring a vibrant and fresh approach to the traditional music of Veracruz.
The artists will offer a workshop in our Thursday Workshop Series.
