Mosaico is, as its name suggests, a mosaic of musical styles, instrumentation, and nationalities from across Latin American with special emphasis on the Andean traditions. The members of the group hail from Paraguay, Nicaragua, Colombia, Perú, Mexico, and the U.S. and perform on instruments ranging from the pan pipes, quena, bombo, cajón and congas to accordion, harp, Venezuelan cuatro, Colombian tiple and the Andean charango. The evening will include traditional folkloric dance.
