Refunds & Credits

Full refunds or full school credits are available until 24 hours before your 1st class begins. If you phone or stop by to cancel your registration 24 hours before your 2nd or 3rd class begins, a partial prorated school credit can be given, If your class has met 3 times or it is less than 24 hours before your 3rd class, no school credit is available.

For registrations made with the December 2010 Groupon offer, canceling your class registration after the session has begun forfeits the Groupon. If a Groupon registration is canceled before the session starts, the Groupon will be reinstated for future use through the expiration date.

The Old Town School of Folk Music reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration. If we cancel a class due to low enrollment or other reasons, you will be notified by phone before the class start date, and we will automatically issue a school credit to the purchaser's account. If you would like a credit card refund, you must contact customer service at 773-728-6000 (press opt. 1) to arrange for a refund. Sorry, we cannot do it automatically. In the event of a canceled class, we would love to help you find an alternate activity!

Discounts for Seniors & Teens

Adults 65 and over are eligible for the Senior Discount of 50% off group classes. Classes for teens are 25% off. Ask us when you register! Please register in person or by phone (773-728-6000) to receive these discounts.

Photo Permissions

By registering for this class, I grant Old Town School of Folk Music permission to photograph or video my/my child's participation in Old Town School of Folk Music education programs. I also grant Old Town School of Folk Music permission to use my/child's likeness in a promotional capacity including but not limited to print materials, web site, print, online or out of home media and other medium now or later developed; as well as permission to share photography and video including my/my child's likeness for use by media publications and institutions that fund Old Town School of Folk Music operations and programs.
