Explore the style and technique of legendary bluesman, Robert Johnson. We’ll delve into his right hand picking style, as well as the chords, riffs and other “tricks of the trade”. This workshop will focus on classic delta lowdown blues and rags in standard tuning such as “Kind-Hearted Woman”, “Me and the Devil”, “From Four Until Late”, “Love in Vain”, “Malted Milk”, and “When You Got a Good Friend”. Some written material will be provided. Bring a recording device.
