Join renowned Old Time musician, Bruce Molsky for this workshop in Round Peak fiddle. The Round Peak style originated around Surrey and Stokes Counties in North Carolina and it has become one of the most distinctive Old Time music styles in existence. Round Peak players like Tommy Jarrell and Fred Cockerham became musical heroes to many and their syncopated, bluesy styles have become the foundation for many in the Old Time music community.
Bruce will offer a demo/repertoire performance from 4:15pm to 5:00pm at the end of the workshop series. All workshop participants are encouraged
