In this workshop, we will explore the music and fingerpicking techniques of Rev. Gary Davis, focusing on material that Jorma Kaukonen has performed and recorded like, Hesitation Blues, Let Us Get Together, Death Don’t Have No Mercy, Rev. Gary Davis, had a major influence on Jorma’s style. As a college student, Jorma was taught the rudiments of fingerpicking by the late Ian Buchanan, a student of the Rev.
