Irish Tunes for Clawhammer Banjo

Much of American folk and bluegrass music has roots in Ireland. In the traditional Irish bands, 4 string banjo is the most common. But the melodies are spectacularly beautiful, and fit quite nicely in the clawhammer style. This video is a medley of 3 tunes together -- “Soldiers Joy,” “Wind that Shakes the Barley,” and “Whiskey Before Breakfast.”
