The City of Chicago’s Cultural Grants Program seeks to serve as a catalyst to foster a robust, healthy arts community where artists, nonprofit arts and culture organizations and creative industries thrive. Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) grant funding provides opportunities for artists and creative professionals to develop or create artistic work, participate in high quality training or professional development opportunities, or create opportunities to engage communities and neighborhoods in an artistic practice/project.
The DCASE Cultural Grants Team will offer this workshop for music specific program applicants. The presenters will review updates to grant guidelines and review criteria, and provide tips and guidance to help applicants prepare the strongest, most competitive applications possible.
