Each session we take the work of a classic soul singer or writer or label and prepares their songs for performance with a full band—singers, guitarists, horn and keyboard players, bassists and drummers—whoever wants to sign up!
Session 4: Barry White and Philly Soul--spend the summer digging into the lush sounds of Barry White, the Love Unlimited Orchestra, and Philadelphia International. We'll also look at great acts like the Spinners, the Stylistics, Teddy Pendergrass, and more. For all voices and instruments; bring your wah-wah and your string section.
