Come explore Latin Grooves from Santana and War all the way to Los Amigos Invisibles and Manu Chao. We’ll examine music from Buena Vista Social Club and the Fania All Stars. Become familiar with the roots styles that make up Salsa: Son Montuno, Cha-Cha, Cumbia, Merengue, Boogaloo, and more. Jam out with roots music and the funky fusions we hear today. We’ll explore some Latin jazz grooves as well.
