For many songwriters, lyrics and melodies are often aspects of their craft that need strengthening. In the lyrics portion of the class, we'll learn how to use cohesive and descriptive language, avoid cliches, find alternate ways of rhyming, and find different ways of expressing yourself. In the melodies portion of class, we'll work on ways of making ideas catchy, finding the right notes to sing over chords, and how to place notes on top of lyrics.
