An ensemble class that celebrates the rock'n'roll underground, from proto-punk to post-punk.

Session 3: The Modern Lovers: The seminal Boston indie band would launch the careers of Johnathan Richman and founding members of the Talking Heads and the Cars.  We'll play this classic first record in its entirety.  Radio on.

Session 4 is JOY DIVISION
Formed in late '70's Manchester, the austere but danceable music of Joy Division became the template for the Factory Records sound and influenced the post-punk bands PiL, Gang of Four, and the indie rock bands of today.  Open to all instruments and skill levels.
