Sammy, Caleb, Nadine and Reeb will get together at the beginning of the workshop with all the participants and demonstrate the tunes that will be learnt during the workshop. The groups will then separate and work on the tunes and get together at the end to play them all together in a relaxed, positive and supportive environment.
In a typical workshop Caleb will teach a few tunes that are easy to remember and that will challenge both the right and the left hand technique. He will explore the different tones of the mandolin and demonstrate how to get the most sound from the instrument. He will talk about rhythm playing and teach chord variations.
