Folkloric and classical rhythms are the foundation of this breathtaking music. Learn how to accompany Middle Eastern music in it's different forms and even train your ear to anticipate a song's phrasing.
This session George Lawler will be teaching focusing on all the basic Middle Eastern rhythms, and also Turkish split-finger technique for darbuka, Moroccan 6/8 rhythms, and the roots of Algerian Rai rhythms.
