The Old Town School is proud to be the home of the largest and most cohesive bluegrass program in the city. Our staff of incredible bluegrass musicians will take your playing to the next level!

Bluegrass Events
Bass, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and banjo students are invited to join an informal Free Bluegrass Jam with their instructor. It's free and open to prospective students, current students and returning students, whether you want to get a taste or a full meal of bluegrass!
Jams take place on the last Sunday of each 8-week session.






Private Instruction
We offer private instruction in mandolin, banjo, fiddle, guitar, dobro and upright bass. If you love bluegrass, but can't make time for one of the group classes, private instruction is just the thing for you.
