Bass
Our group classes listed to the right focus specifically on the fretted electric bass - a perfect place to comfortably gather the set of crucial basic skills. Beginners can start with Bass Guitar 1, while folks with experience on guitar or banjo can jump in with Bass as a Second Instrument.
Several of our teachers offer the opportunity to study the fretless upright bass in a private lesson.
Are you comfortable with your bass skills? You'll want to take the next step and join a group, try one of our ensemble classes.
Group Classes

Ensembles
Our Ensemble classes offer a fantastic opportunity to learn to play well with others - you'll have a great time, and you'll be a welcome addition to the class! The added bonus is that many ensemble classes conclude with a final performance in a venue around town. If you always wanted to perform at Buddy Guy's Legends, the Blues Band - Live! class can help you fulfill that dream!

Private Instruction
Private lessons on Electric and Upright Bass run in 8-week sessions, just like our group classes, but allow a more personal, individually-directed experience.
