- Our group classes, listed to the right, focus specifically on the fretted electric bass - a perfect place to comfortably gather crucial basic skills. We offer four levels of core Bass Guitar. Beginners can jump right in at level one. During the course of your study, one can expect to cover fundamentals like tone, rhythm, theory and groove. Learn to be able to add a solid bottom to a wide variety of musical styles from Blues and Bluegrass to Rock and Pop.
- Several of our teachers offer the opportunity to study the fretless upright bass in a private lesson.
- Are you comfortable with your bass skills? You'll want to take the next step and join a group. Try one of our ensemble classes.

- Ensembles
- Our Ensemble classes offer a fantastic opportunity to learn to play well with others - you'll have a great time, and you'll be a welcome addition to the class! The added bonus is that many ensemble classes conclude with a final performance in a venue around town. If you always wanted to perform at Buddy Guy's Legends, the Blues Band - Live! class can help you fulfill that dream!
