Hand carved in Bejing, Eastman mandolins are very popular here at the Different Strummer. All feature all solid carved woods and beautiful finishes. Our biggest problem is getting enough of the them in!

Gold Tone

Best known for their banjos, Goldtone also produces excellent step up instruments in the mandolin department. We carry both A and F models; a man-jo model is also available (although we are not responsible for anything having to do with a banjo mandolin).

Kentucky

Kentucky is the heart of our mandolin wall. Kentucky has it all, from sturdy laminate student models to high end all solid F models. A wide range of models and excellent tone in every level make Kentucky our most popular line.

Big Muddy

These hand made mandolins come from a small factory in Mid-Missouri. They are the "camp" style, having a flat top and back. Big Muddys are made from all solid tonewoods. A popular post rental model.

Last but certainly not least, we feature custom instruments from the fine folks at Sound to Earth in Montana. These are the best mandolins we carry! We usually have a few customs in stock, and will be happy to help you design the mandolin of your dreams.
